Receive up to £3,000 for your approved foster carer introductions.

Our "Introduce a Carer" scheme is a fantastic way for you, our amazing colleagues and foster carers to share the rewarding experience of fostering with others while making a difference in even more children's lives.

Do you have friends, family, colleagues, or acquaintences who could make great foster carers? Sometimes, fostering comes up naturally in conversation, whether it's during a family meal, chatting with a colleague, or while waiting in line at a coffee shop. These are perfect moments to introduce others to fostering. Many people have the potential to be amazing foster carers but might not know where to start.

By sharing your experience, you could inspire someone to take the first step. With our "Introduce a Carer" scheme, you can help bring more foster carers into the community and make a lasting impact on children's lives, building our carer capacity across all our incredible agencies so our outstanding care can reach even more young people and deliver our shared BSN Social Care vision:

Our Introduce a Carer offer

No one knows more about the vital role of foster carers than our colleagues and carers across the group. That’s why we believe you can help us to recruit even more.

Do you have any friends, family, former colleagues, or acquaintances that have the skills and qualities to become a brilliant foster carer? Can you introduce us?

If the answer is yes, you could receive up to £3,000 for introducing new foster carers to our agencies across BSN Social Care. For every introduction you make (and there are no limits), we’ll reward you with:

£1500 for introductions who become Panel approved
£1500 after they’ve had a continuous placement for 60 days

There is no limit on how many friends you introduce, or how many rewards you receive. All you have to do is complete a few simple steps.

Step 1

Have a chat with the person you’d like to introduce. They need to know that you’re recommending them to one of our agencies before you submit their details to your agency.

Step 2

Submit your details, and the contact details of the person you’re introducing using the designated online enquiry form for the agency they could be suitable for. (see links below)

Step 3

This is where our fostering advisors and recruitment teams work their magic! They will make direct contact with your introduction, have an initial chat, and hopefully take them through to a home visit and application.
